Why SOAR?

This micro-credential program trains how to lead and facilitate SOAR engagements and to help others experience the value of: Sharing Intent, Owning Impact, Affirming Alignment, and Restoring Relationship in the midst of JEDI+ (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and more) tensions.  

SOAR is designed to open eyes, ears, hearts and minds to an energy system that ultimately transforms negative tensions into decipherable realities, allowing powerful engagement and collaboration to occur. You will learn minimal requirements and best practices for embedding SOAR into organizational cultures, and be able to deploy SOAR with individuals, work groups, leaders, and organizations.  This credential will empower you to:

  • Identify JEDI+ pain points and underlying polarities that might benefit from SOAR engagements

  • Deploy core SOAR polarity assessments to baseline your current state and monitor progress related to the JEDI+ tensions

  • Lead SOAR engagements at all levels of an organization

  • Coach leaders and professionals to SOAR effectively

  • Build a more inclusive culture and unite around shared a vision and purpose

  • Create opportunities for collaborative engagement with safe spaces for difficult, yet crucial conversations

What is an Online Facilitated Program?

In this three-day live Faculty-facilitated session, you will connect with and learn from a recognized expert who will support you in deepening your polarity application skills using Polarity Assessments. 

Post-session one-on-one coaching will supplement learning from the classroom to provide you with individualized support for application in real-world contexts.

You'll be welcomed into a global Polarity Practice Community 50 years in the making that continues learning and evolving with one another

 

 How You’ll Do It?


Complete any necessary prerequisites:  

  • Option 1: If you have already completed your PACT™ Certification, simply register for the Micro-Credential Program using the registration link at the bottom of the page..

  • Option 2: If you are not yet PACT™ certified, you will need to complete 7 eLearning modules. This will take you between 3.5-7 hours, depending on your learning style. Use the registration link at the bottom of the page to enroll in both the PACT Certification and this SOAR Facilitation Micro-Credential Program. Note: This option represents a $1,500 savings compared to enrolling in these programs separately.

  • Complete Pre-Work: Six SOAR Foundations eLearning modules (2-3 hours)

  • Participate in three 4-hour faculty facilitated online cohort sessions.

  • Access the Polarity Resource Portal for the most current theory, tools, and practice ideas.

  • Receive a PDF copy of Barry Johnson’s latest book, “And – Making a Difference by Leveraging Polarity, Paradox or Dilemma” Volume One”

  • Complete an Applied Learning Project (ALP) where you apply the SOAR process and tools to a personal or professional engagement. Get 1 on 1 online coaching from a certified SOAR practitioner.

Meet Wanda on LinkedIn

Wanda Savage-Moore has extensive experience as a Workplace Wellness Consultant, Leadership Coach, and Organizational Development Specialist with emphasis on Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) Cultural Transformation. She is an ICF-certified coach, a graduate of George Mason University’s Organizational Wellness Coaching Program, and holds a Masters Degree in Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
